Dr. Dre and Jay-Z under pressure


Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre were in attendance participating in batting practice, during Boston Red Sox's opening night to promote Dr. Dre's Red Sox edition of "Beat by Dre" headphones. During an interview with NESN, Iovine was asked what his at-bat song would be, Iovine responded,

"The new song Dre has in his pocket, called 'Under Pressure.' It's a brand new single by Dr. Dre and Jay-Z. That's the song I would use."

While there's no official word, "Under Pressure" is expected to be featured on Dr. Dre's long awaited "Detox" album.

Rihanna to hit the road with Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj


This summer Rihanna will be hitting the road with her "Last Girl on Earth" tour in efforts to promote her latest LP, Rated R. Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj will serve as the tours opening acts. The "Last Girl on Earth" tour is scheduled to begin July 2, hitting 25 cities including Los Angeles and New York.

Drake's album released date changed



Drake's upcoming debut album, "Thank Me Later" release date has been pushed back to June 15th. The original release date was scheduled May 25th. The reason for the album's setback is unknown.

T-Pain releasing gospel album


Rappa Ternt Sanga, T-Pain has plans to receive his first gospel album. In an interview, the auto-tune hitmaker stated,

"A lot of people don't know this about me," he said, "but I am a deeply spiritual person. Dude, I go to church just as much as I go to the strip clubs. That's saying something."

The album's title, "Even Heaven Got A VIP" and is set to be released September 9th on Jive/Nappy Boy Records.

Usher "Raymond" to debut #1 after first day sales


Will the real Raymond stand up... Usher's new album, Raymond v. Raymond is expected to debut #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart next week, based on 1st day sales, according to HITS Daily Double. With urban radio hit singles, There Goes My Baby, Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home), Little Freak and Top 40 pop driven, O.M.G., Raymond v. Raymond is expected to sell around 350K. Raymond v. Raymond is Usher's follow-up album, from his platinum album, Here I Stand released in 2009.

Rihanna hangs on to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100


This week Rihanna continues her reign for a third consecutive week at #1 with her latest, Rude Boy. Rude Boy also moves to #1 on the Radio Songs chart, making it her 4th appearance atop of the list. B.O.B. continues to hold tight at #2 with "Nothing On You," featuring Bruno Mars. Train's "Hey Soul Sister" reaches its peak climbing 7-3, also marking the groups highest appearance on the chart ever. Lady Antebellum remains at #4 with "Need You Now," while Lady Gaga and Beyonce fall two spots to #5 with "Telephone."

Rounding out the remainder of the top ten are appearances from Taio Cruz with "Break Your Heart" at number 6, The Black Eyed Peas' "Imma Be" falling to #7, Justin Bieber climbing to 10-8 with "Baby" featuring Ludacris, Young Money's "Bedrock" at #9, and Ke$ha's "Tik ToK" at #10.

This weeks Billboard Hot 100 Chart also saw new appearances from T-Pain "Reverse Cowgirl" at #75 and Young Money's "Roger That" at #86.

Justin Bieber continues to take over the "World"


Bieber Fever will be in full effect this week on the Billboard 200 album's chart as Justin Bieber occupies two positions within the top 5.

Justin Bieber's sophomore album, "My World 2.0" will debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 album's chart Thursday with 283,000 copies sold. At the age of 16, Justin Bieber will become the youngest male solo artist to appear in the top spot since Stevie Wonder 50 years ago at the age of 13. After 19 weeks, Bieber's debut album, "My World" jumps from 10-5 this week.
